Summary: The Warehouse Officer is essential to inventory accuracy, warehouse process optimisation, and operations of the Authority. Key Accountabilities: Ensure accurate inventory records and appropriate warehouse storage and handling. Coordinate inbound cargo reception, evaluate quality and quantity, and verify against purchase orders or delivery notes. Ensure safe and effective storage of items in specified warehouses, optimising space utilisation and accessibility. Efficiently process outbound orders, selecting, packaging, and preparing items for transportation to internal or external consumers. Conduct frequent stock and cycle counts to check inventory levels, discover inconsistencies, and reconcile with records. Assist with maintaining a safe working environment for warehouse personnel by following health and safety requirements and best practices. Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including revenues, shipments, and adjustments, and generate necessary reports. Assist with Identifying and executing solutions for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency benefits in warehouse operations. Knowledge & Skills: Associate degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent discipline Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse management or logistics Strong attention to detail Computer Literate Excellent oral and written communication skills Note: Full job description to be provided on request.
