Position at Pilgrim's WASTE WATER MAINTENANCE TECHINICIAN Resume Required for this position. Applicants will not be considered without a resume. Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Perform building maintenance duties and specific tasks such as repairing conveyors, gearboxes, or hydraulic systems as assigned by the supervisor · Preventive maintenance and repairs on the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. · Troubleshot machinery quickly and effectively · Preventive maintenance and repairs to wastewater equipment, such as conveyors, gearboxes, augers, and pumps · Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner · Be experienced and knowledgeable in high-speed manufacturing and packaging equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, valves, cylinders and air compressors. Knowledge of welding (S/S, Mig, Tig) is a plus. · Day-to-day maintenance and repair of equipment. · Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems on equipment · Comply with all safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. · Document and maintain “Standard Operating Procedures” for site-specific technologies in use at the facility. · Maintain compliance with discharge permit · Performing routine inspections, lubricating machinery, changing fluids, and testing equipment to prevent failures before happens. · Communicate with wastewater management and personnel to diagnose problems and to determine potential mechanical problems Qualifications · Climbing, including ladders, lifting, working with a variety of hand and power tools, shop machines, and tools. · Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience • Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment • General mathematics ability required to perform job • Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings • Basic knowledge of standard and metric measures • Must be able to work assigned days/shifts (including some weekends) · Must be able to work in extreme heat and/or below freezing temperatures · Previous maintenance experience with (Preferred) · PLC · Electrical · Multi Meter · SAP EOE, including disability/vets
