The position involves executing operations and maintenance of water supply and sewerage infrastructure, handling of customer complaints and connections, inspection of ongoing water and sewerage projects and reporting. • Carrying out applications for customer water and sewer connections. • Carry out operations and maintenance of water supply infrastructure. • Implement company’s water supply and sewerage projects. • Regular monitoring of water supply and sewer networks and preparing inspection reports. • Investigating customer complaints related to water supply and sewer issues and taking appropriate corrective actions. • Taking monthly stock taking of water and sewer connection materials and requisition of materials. • Carrying out inspections of ongoing water and sewerage projects. • Carrying out monthly water meter readings and reconciling physical and online meter readings. • Carrying out quarterly physical meter maintenance through servicing and replacing faulty meters. • Monitoring of tank water levels and taking appropriate action. • Assist in carrying out Water Treatment plant operations and maintenance. • Install, maintain and repair water supply equipment’s and distribution infrastructure to ensure continuous supply of safe drinking water. • Preparing proposals for water supply and sanitation improvement projects. RequirementsDiploma in Water Engineering / Wastewater Technology.A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in water and sewer operations.Experience / certification in operating Butt Fusion-Welding Machines is an added advantage.Familiarity with quality, health and safety standards
