#### **Specific Role:** Welder is a key role in EMIT’s manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for welding parts, according to blueprints and instructions, based on your daily production scheduled expectations. #### **Key Accountabilities:** - Perform welding tasks to meet daily production priorities. - Prepare and assemble parts with proper fitment, which may involve cutting, bending, and grinding. - Review blueprints to ensure finished products meet quality specifications. - Identify and escalate errors or process adjustments to the Team Leader as needed. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including completing the weekly welder checklist. #### **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or technical training preferred - 1+ year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment (MIG/TIG/Stick as applicable) - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols - Proficient in cutting, bending, and grinding to achieve proper fitment - Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met - Comfortable escalating errors or process changes to team leadership - Ability to lift 50–75 lbs. repeatedly and stand/walk for the duration of a shift - Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all PPE and safety requirements - Self-motivated with the ability to meet daily production expectations **Physical & Safety Requirements:** - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. - Comfortable standing, walking, and moving for the duration of a shift. - Always use proper PPE when required. - Follow safety protocols when using tools and handling cleaning materials. #### #### #### We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds.
