Workday Specialist - Extend Developer

Dematic/KION is looking for a Workday Specialist – Focus Extend Developer. This expert will develop custom applications utilizing Workday HCM’s Web Services, customized business processes and Process Orchestrations. Maintain, monitor, and continuously improve existing Extend solutions. Translate business needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions. Ensure solutions meet performance, stability, and Global IT governance standards. Support testing, upgrades, deployments, and cutover activities. Create and maintain technical documentation and solution designs. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Either: 2–3 years of programming experience with technologies such as XML, XSLT, XPath, REST APIs, SOAP, Workday Query Language, JSON, and object-oriented programming; or 4–5 years of Workday ecosystem experience as an integration expert. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an international environment. Strong communication and intercultural skills. Eagerness to learn new technical areas. English proficiency at C1/C2 level. Willingness to travel up to 10%.
