Working Civils Supervisor

Job description

- Plan works and organise all site enabling activities. - Report on project progress and completions to ensure projects meet all Client standards. - Ensure work programmes deliver the maximum output from teams. - Ensure that the optimum method of construction is used. - Ensure construction meets all standards set by Client /Customer. - Complete all works within prescribed timescales. - Work flexibly and respond effectively to emergency requirements of Clients. - Manage the allocation of labour, ensuring best for task, monitoring and maximising production. - Procure & mobilise resources (Labour, Plant & materials). - Keep a close account of project costing, including purchasing, labour resources and hire, including monitoring the need for and use of hired-in plant and equipment. - Coordinate site activities including management of 1. labour 2. plant, 3. materials, 4. traffic management 5. associated subcontract activities. - Predict future activities to ensure required resource is available for subsequent activities. - Undertake civil engineering tasks on site when acting as a working supervisor.
