Working Student Event Operations, Defence (m/f/d) – DSEI Germany

Your mission Supporting the Preparation of DSEI Germany Assist with the organisational planning and operational preparation of an international defence and security exhibition. Coordinate and liaise with external service providers, suppliers, and partners. Maintain and update project plans, Excel trackers, and timelines. Support the preparation of meeting rooms, event spaces, and service requirements. On-Site Support During the Exhibition Provide operational support as part of the event team during the build-up, live event, and breakdown phases between late February and mid-March. Participation will be arranged in line with your academic schedule and availability. Administrative & Organisational Support Maintain and update data in Excel, , and CRM systems. Support the preparation and follow-up of meetings and projects. Assist with budget tracking, supplier administration, and operational reporting. Prepare presentations, reports, and organisational documentation. Communication & Coordination Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and PR. Coordinate external communication with service providers and, where applicable, customers. Support cross-functional projects and operational processes. Your profile Currently enrolled in a degree programme in Event Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Communications, or a related field. Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working. Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously. Confident user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word); ideally with initial experience using CRM systems or project management tools such as . Excellent communication skills in German; good English skills are required. Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of working as part of a team.
