Job description
Youth Volleyball Coach Location: Loudoun County, Northern Virginia As a Youth Volleyball Coach with the Northern Virginia Volleyball Association (NVVA), you will bring your enthusiam to create dynamic, high-quality training environments for our kids. This role is ideal for individuals with a sincere interest in teaching, whether in volleyball or other sports, and a track record of working with young athletes. This coaching position can either lead or support teams and contribute to program development and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Coaching: Plan and/or conduct engaging and well-structured training sessions, focusing on skill development, game strategy, and teamwork. Individual Development: Identify and nurture the unique strengths of each kid, offering personalized feedback and support to help them excel. Game Day: Serve as coach on game days, focusing on competitive play and sportsmanship. Collaboration: Work closely with the coaching team and/or management to align on program goals and strategies. Be ready for advice, guidance, and opportunities to improve your connectivty with athletes. Parent and Player Communication: Build strong relationships with players and their families, regularly updating them on progress and team activities.
