YouTube Shorts Creative Lead

Job description

### **About Us** Beast Industries is a multifaceted media and entertainment company founded by Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, the most watched person in the world. Renowned for revolutionizing digital content creation, Beast Industries encompasses a diverse portfolio of ventures that extend far beyond its origins on YouTube. With a mission to entertain, inspire, and create significant social impact, Beast Industries operates across various domains including digital media, philanthropy, consumer products, and innovative business initiatives. At Beast Industries, we believe in the transformative power of digital media and its potential to entertain, educate, and effect positive change. Our commitment to innovation, creativity, and philanthropy drives us to explore new frontiers, create unforgettable experiences, and build a legacy that inspires future generations. ## **THE ROLE** Own the creative voice of the world's most-watched brand on YouTube Shorts. MrBeast is building the most influential creative studio on the planet. As YouTube Shorts Creative Lead, you will be wholly responsible for how our brand shows up on YouTube Shorts from a creative standpoint. You will bring an instinctive understanding of what makes content move on the platform and the creative conviction to make it happen at the highest level. This is a rare opportunity for a creative who is truly native to vertical video and understands how to shape platform culture. You will lead a dedicated team of creatives while working alongside a Social Analytics Lead, focusing exclusively on ideation and execution for YouTube Shorts. You will own the creative output of MrBeast's YouTube Shorts presence. Your job is to lead the entire creative process from initial brainstorming through post-mortem content evaluation. You will guide a writers room, manage a team creatives, handle high-volume output, and pitch ideas with conviction. The best short-form creators know that horizontal video formats do not automatically translate to vertical content. You will bring a point of view specific to YouTube Shorts, its audience, and its rhythms, translating that into consistent, high-volume content that feels native to the platform while remaining unmistakably MrBeast. ## How to apply We know that a resume and LinkedIn profile don't paint the entire picture of how creative you are. We'll happily take your resume but here's your opportunity to show us your skills regardless of what your experience has been. Even if you don't meet all of "what we're looking for", we encourage you to apply! Record yourself walking us through your answers to 2 questions that we'll provide -- not reading a script, but showing us how you actually think. If you're taking notes or building out your thinking in a doc, show that too. We're not grading production value. We want to see your thought process, not how good of an editor or performer you are. **Ready? Fill in the form below, and we'll send you more details, and a way to submit your video.** Spots are limited.
